Victor is originally from Curacao, an island in the Caribbean where he lived for the majority of his life. Many would consider it a beautiful vacation destination, but as a person growing up on this beautiful vacation destination, he would describe it as a place dominated by corruption and greed. A lot of Victor's ambitions in life can be attributed to his childhood, “Curacao exposes you to a brutal side of life, I consider it a time capsule for emotions…you’re forced to grow up faster.”
Victor moved to Canada 7 years ago, where he attended University for his degree in Business Administration. Although Victor had graduated, his learning felt unfinished. He started studying the human anatomy and things that pertain to how the body functions, and his interest turned into passion, and thus the natural course was to become a personal trainer. Victor has 5 years of experience in the field of health and fitness and is currently a Certified Personal Trainer. Being a personal trainer allows Victor the opportunity to help people with what really matters, which is the relationship between body and mind.
Gillian is the other piece to the puzzle. Originally from Toronto, Gillian grew up in a health conscious household. Nutrition was the cornerstone on which her and her 2 siblings were raised by. Her mother, often referred to as “mother nature,” was very strict as to what types of food would enter the house and more importantly the body. To this day, Gillian continues on with these practices which she had made a staple in her life. “Nutrient dense foods don’t have to taste like cardboard, they just require a bit more effort and love to taste better,” is one of her most cherished lessons.
Both Gillian and Victor are firm believers of what energy you put into this world (relationships, family, careers… etc.) you will get out of it. They are on a journey to discover all of their potentials and help others in finding theirs.
