The mission and vision of St. Lawrence College’s PAC Team aims to provide a complement to the mission and vision of the college itself. SLC’s mission is “to meet the learning needs of our students and communities”, and its vision is “to be a great learning college”. Within this framework, the PAC Team aims to develop positive relationships between administrative and student bodies, promote a sense of community between students from all faculties and programs, as well as provide interesting, engaging and enjoyable activities to complement the learning objectives of the college. The PAC Team aims to be a visible, positive scholastic entity that supports cohesion between academics and extra-curricular involvement.
Among other duties, the PAC Team is responsible for:
o Assisting in planning and implementing year-round events and activities
o Initiating and maintaining morale and enthusiasm among students
o Offering knowledge of resources inside and outside the college community
o Promoting and advertising college events to reach the widest appropriate audiences
The Peer Ambassador Committee or “PAC Team” is a group of returning, full-time students attending SLC who aim to promote and support school spirit and student involvement as a complement to the SLC mission and vision.
